Last week, the godfather of AI, Geoffrey Hinton smashed the glass and activated the big red AI alarm button warning all of us about creating a world where we won’t “be able to know what is true anymore”. What’s happening now with everything AI makes all the other tech revolutions of the past 40 plus years seem almost trivial. With limitless possibilities and the potential for AI-generated content to be used for both good and bad, the question business leaders and technologists at the IETF, Linux Foundation and lots of companies are asking, is how to determine what data to trust.
At RKVST, we’ve been working on the ‘what data to trust’ problem for the past several years. Our provenance-as-a-service platform provides the data traceability and transparency businesses need today to verify data provenance and authenticity, including AI and very sensitive super-secret data.
Introducing Instaproof
We want to empower all data consumers across the globe to verify data with confidence. Our newest feature, Instaproof, is a game-changer anyone can use, for free, to evaluate and decide if the data they are thinking about using is trustworthy. It works with any file including documents, images, videos, audio files, PDFs, folders, software artifacts and more. To see Instaproof in action, grab some content from our Github repo and drag it onto Instaproof.
Drag, Drop, Create
If you want to create trustworthy data anyone can verify, we’ve made it easy to do that too by signing up for a free RKVST account.
Our UI includes a drag, drop, create feature to generate a provenance record for any file, and gives you the controls you need to for public and private-permissioned provenance attestations.
A Single Line of Code API
There’s a lot more you can do with your RKVST account including connecting the RKVST API with your Dropbox files using Zaps, using our Swagger console (built into your RKVST account), Python client and Postman collection to build code you can add into applications that need instantly verifiable data provenance.
I hope you find RKVST and our new feature Instaproof helpful in deciding what data to trust and would very much appreciate your feedback on how we can make it better. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Happy verifying!
